The City is making efforts to remove litter from the municipal storm water system, and will be making changes to the City’s Municipal Code that will require action from commercial property owners to prevent litter from entering storm drains on their property.
The City Council held a public hearing on this matter at its Tuesday Nov 7, 2017 City Council Meeting.
The second reading of the changes to the City’s Municipal Code on this matter will be at the November 21, 2017 City Council Meeting. The City Council Meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 2131 Pear Street, Pinole, CA, 94564.
