The City of Pinole is pleased to Celebrate Wine Tasting and would like to invite local wine makers, chocolate purveyors, and cheese makers to join in this event.
On Saturday June 14, 2014 the doors of the Pinole Senior Center will open for community members to savor Bay Area Delights. This is a fundraising event for the City of Pinole’s Recreation Department. Entry into the event is $25 which will be your ticket to entry into the event, a souvenir wine glass, and two tastings. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased for $5 per tasting or $20 for unlimited tasting.
How to have your items featured:
There are currently spaces for local wine makers and wineries to donate their wines to the Pinole Youth Foundation (PYF). In accordance with the guidelines of ABC wine cannot be sold at the event. However wine can be donated to the PYF. Wine donated to PYF will be prepared for tasting in groups of 3 flights.
Wine enthusiast may also participate. If individuals or organizations have a favorite wine that you would like to include in the tasting you may be featured.
We would love to celebrate the play of wine on the palette with the delicate and strong accompaniment of chocolate. We are inviting local chocolate shops to provide samples and sell their wonderful wares at our event.
Lastly, we would like to invite local cheese shops and cheese makers to provide tasting and sell their wares.
We are seeking event sponsors. In order to bring this dynamic event to the community, we are looking for organizations and individuals who would like to provide sponsorship. Sponsors will be featured at this event, and receive recognition on the City of Pinole Website.
